March 16, 2010 - 5pm - 9pm : Disaster Action Team Training - Sidney at in Sidney at WNCC - Sidney Campus
Disaster Action Team (DAT) volunteers go on-call and respond to disasters within their community. The most common disaster these members respond to are residential fires, where they assist the victims by providing support and immediate needs like shelter, food, and clothing. Further training is available to those interested in volunteering on National Disasters.
2010-03-18 - 5pm - 9pm : First Aid Class at Chapter Office: RWMC St. Mary's Plaza - Ave. B in Scottsbluff
Teaches basic first aid procedures for injuries and sudden illnesses.
2010-03-11 - 5pm-9pm : CPR/AED Class at Greater Nebr. Panhandle Chapter of the Red Cross
Teaches adult rescue breathing, choking procedures for adults and safely using an AED. CPR classes require a 7th grade reading level and participants should weigh 90 lbs. or for effective CPR compressions. All classes are non-refundable. Payment is accepted by cash, check or credit card. Class prices are subject to change. Most First Aid/CPR classes include a participant workbook and laminated skills cards.
March 27, 2010 - 9am - 5pm : Babysitter Training - for Services to Armed Forces - ages 11-15 yrs old at Scottsbluff Armory
Available for youth ages 11-15. Modules include child development, infant care, accident prevention, CPR, first aid, rescue breathing, choking and more. Red Cross Babysitter Certification
